What is MMA?

Evolution of Combat

Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) is one of the most popular sports on the planet. It’s a full-contact combat sport that has emerged from the foundations of different martial arts.

Mixed Martial Artists use a combination of techniques often seen in Muay Thai, BJJ, Judo, Kickboxing and Boxing to compete in this highly competitive and challenging sport.

MMA competition allows athletes to strike and grapple, both standing and while on the ground. Athletes usually compete in a ring or a fenced area known as "The Circle" or "The Octagon".
