Three GAMMA Pan American Gold Medals, Belizean Athletes Make History

 

Belize celebrated an impressive achievement at the GAMMA Pan American Championships, with three representatives securing gold medals. The accomplishment marks an important milestone for the development of Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) in Belize and highlights the abilities of Belizean athletes on the international stage.

Two of the athletes who claimed championship titles were Jalen Perez and Dominic Beaino. Perez won the GAMMA Pan American gold medal in the Men’s Division at 145 lbs, while Beaino secured gold in the Men’s Division at 170 lbs.

Their success was the result of preparation, hard work, and dedication leading up to the competition. Their journey to the podium became an important part of their efforts to represent Belize at the international level.

Coach Silvino Riverol, CEO of ProFC, also joined the discussion to share insights into the team’s journey, the athletes’ preparation, and the process that led to their success at the GAMMA Pan American Championships.
