Fights reached an even higher level of intensity on the third day of the 3rd European MMA Championship, held at the “Giorgos Galanopoulos” Indoor Hall in Loutraki on Friday, May 1.
The schedule featured quarterfinal and semifinal matchups in the U21 and Senior divisions for both men and women. With competition rules allowing strikes to the head at these levels, the bouts proved particularly hard-fought and thrilling for spectators.
Athletes from Ukraine, Czech Republic, Ireland, and Azerbaijan secured the majority of spots in the finals, positioning themselves as strong contenders in the race for the top of the medal standings.
On Saturday, May 2—the final day of competition—remaining semifinals in select categories will take place early in the morning, followed by all finals in the afternoon, along with medal ceremonies and the Closing Ceremony.
