Amazing ending with Exciting Finals – Czech Republic and Ukraine Take Center Stage (pics)

Curtain Falls on the 3rd GAMMA European Championship in Loutraki

The 3rd GAMMA European Championship concluded in the most spectacular fashion on the afternoon of Saturday, May 2, at the “Giorgos Galanopoulos” Indoor Hall in Loutraki.

The finals in the U21 and Senior categories were thrilling and kept spectators on the edge of their seats, highlighting the significant progress and development of European MMA. Participants have already set their sights on the next meeting.

The Czech Republic and Ukraine battled for the top spot in the medal standings, with the Czech team ultimately emerging victorious thanks to stronger performances on the final day in the senior divisions. Both nations secured 11 gold medals each, but the Czech Republic claimed first place with a higher number of silver medals and overall total.

Specifically, the Czech Republic finished first with 11 gold, 14 silver, and 12 bronze medals (37 total), while Ukraine placed second with 11 gold, 3 silver, and 15 bronze medals. Ireland secured third place with a tally of 8 gold, 5 silver, and 6 bronze medals (19 total).

Immediately after the medal ceremonies, the OFFICIAL CLOSING CEREMONY of the event took place, featuring a distinctly Greek flair.

Representatives of GAMMA and the European Confederation presented honorary plaques to the host Mayor of Loutraki Giorgos Gionis and Vice Mayor Sakis Papathanasiou, as well as to the President of the Greek Federation Athanasios Barkas and the Greek General Director of GAMMA Nikos Stavropoulos.
